I started in Austria, my home country, writing software for a logistics company. My wife, an American from Louisiana, brought me to the US. I tried a few things. Started a consulting firm. Built a food truck app startup that COVID killed in 2020. Joined Improving in Houston, who placed me at Anadarko Petroleum's AAET innovation lab doing real-time drilling analytics.

We moved to DC. I did a short stint at Capital One, then ended up at AWS.

The bet I'm running here is that AI lets one person ship what used to take a team. Not faster typing. Different scope. I write about it when something is worth writing down. Not often.

On the side I build software for my wife's PR firm.
